About LWML
The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

Women at Family of Christ are developing opportunities through volunteer projects, retreats,and workshops to reflect Jesus' love and the mission commitment of LWML.

International and local projects include disaster kits, refugee children's packages, community and church needs.  Since 1942, mite box gifts have provided funds for mission projects everywhere.

Refuge of Hope

God bless those of you who were willing and able to serve at Refuge of Hope.  We plan to continue serving lunch there on the third Friday of each month.  A signup sheet will be posted every month for this service in our Lord's name.

About Door to Door Neighborhood Visits

Door to door visits are conducted weekly from May til the end of September.  We will be visiting a neighborhood near the church to let them know that we would welcome them here at Family of Christ.  As we knock on doors we lovingly hold up the need to worship Jesus as their Savior.

We usually leave the church at 6:30pm and return at 8 or 8:30pm.  The visits are done in groups of two.  Plans are being made for this year's visits.

Training is available for making visits if you are a little unsure of sharing the Gospel in this way.
